How Much Does a Penile Implant Cost in Turkey?
In 2026, a penile implant in Istanbul costs $5,000 to $12,000 as an all-inclusive package. The implant model explains most of the difference.
Malleable rods sit at the low end, at $5,000 to $7,000. Then comes Rigicon's Infla10 inflatable, at $6,000 to $11,000. Finally, three-piece inflatables from Boston Scientific (AMS 700) or Coloplast (Titan) cost $9,000 to $12,000.
By comparison, the same class of device costs $15,000 to $35,000 self-pay in the United States. Therefore, most patients save well over half, even after flights and hotel nights.
The package also covers the hospital, anesthesia, tests, transfers and follow-up. As a result, the figure you see is close to the figure you pay.

Penile Implant Prices in Istanbul, Device by Device
All figures are 2026 package prices at SafeFill Clinic in Istanbul, in US dollars. Your final figure depends on the model, hospital nights and any added procedure.
Three-piece inflatable implants
$9,000 to $12,000Three-piece implants give the most natural result. Two cylinders fill with fluid when you press a small pump in the scrotum. Afterwards, a release valve returns the penis to a soft state.
Boston Scientific's AMS 700 and Coloplast's Titan rank as the two most studied models worldwide. Both have decades of outcome data behind them. Specifically, long-term studies report around 80% of devices still working at 10 years.
In addition, each brand offers variants. For example, AMS 700 LGX cylinders expand in length as well as girth, while Titan cylinders expand in girth. Generally, the variant changes the price only slightly within the range.
- Package price$9,000 to $12,000, all-inclusive
- Best forMen who want full rigidity and a natural soft look
- Hands-on needEnough hand strength to squeeze a small pump
- Infection controlBoth models carry a coating designed to lower infection risk
Unsure which of the two suits you? Read AMS 700 vs Coloplast Titan before your consultation.
Rigicon Infla10 inflatable
$6,000 to $11,000Infla10 is a newer three-piece inflatable implant. Rigicon has supplied it outside the United States since 2019. Otherwise, it works like the older brands, with two cylinders, a pump and a reservoir.
However, the device itself costs less, so the package starts lower too. Early published studies look encouraging, with about 94% of devices working at two years. Naturally, its long-term record is shorter than that of AMS or Coloplast.
- Package price$6,000 to $11,000, all-inclusive
- Best forAn inflatable implant on a tighter budget
- Trade-offA shorter long-term track record
Malleable (semi-rigid) rods
$5,000 to $7,000A malleable implant is simply a pair of bendable rods. So you bend the penis up for sex and down for daily life. As a result, there is no pump and no fluid inside the device.
Malleable rods suit men with limited hand strength or dexterity. They also suit men who want the simplest device and a shorter operation. On the other hand, the penis always stays semi-firm, which some men find harder to conceal.
- Package price$5,000 to $7,000, all-inclusive
- Best forSimplicity, a lower budget, limited hand function
- Trade-offNo fully soft state between uses
For a side-by-side view of both designs, see penile prosthesis types.
Choosing between the three
Price matters, yet it should be the last filter, not the first. First, think about your hands. If arthritis or a stroke limits your grip, malleable rods avoid the pump altogether.
Next, think about daily life. For example, men who swim, cycle or wear fitted clothing usually prefer an inflatable, because it rests fully soft. Your partner's view counts too, so bring it to the consultation.
Finally, your medical history narrows the field. Heavy scarring from earlier surgery, a curve or diabetes can each change what Dr. Tas recommends. Therefore, the right device is the one you will actually use for the next decade.
Revision and replacement
Quoted per caseReplacing a failed implant means a different operation. First, the surgeon removes the old device, cleans the space and places a new one. Consequently, revision costs more than a first implant and needs its own quote.
At your consultation, Dr. Tas reviews your original operation report and implant card. Your quote then covers the new device, the longer operation and any extra hospital night. Read more about penile implant revision surgery.
What moves the price
Two men with the same device can still receive different quotes. Generally, five factors explain the gap:
- Device model: the biggest single factor, as the prices above show.
- Hospital nights: most men need one night, and a second night adds to the bill.
- Added procedures: for example, straightening a curve during the same operation.
- Hotel choice: a higher hotel category or extra nights raise the total.
- Previous surgery: scar tissue from earlier operations can lengthen the procedure.
Also, compare two quotes line by line, never by the headline number. A complete quote names the following:
- The device brand and exact model, such as AMS 700 LGX or Titan Touch
- The surgeon who operates, and the hospital where he operates
- The anesthesia type and the number of hospital nights
- Tests, medication, transfers and hotel nights, each as its own line
- Who handles your follow-up once you are home
- What happens, and who pays, if a complication needs another operation
So if a quote leaves any of these blank, ask for the missing line in writing before you pay a deposit.
What your package includes
Overall, a SafeFill Clinic implant package covers the device and the full surgical stay. In addition, it covers logistics that patients usually pay for separately at home.
- The complete implant system: both cylinders, the pump and the reservoir, or both rods
- Surgeon and anesthesia fees
- Pre-operative tests and blood work
- A hospital stay of one to two nights
- Medication after surgery
- Hotel nights during recovery, as stated in your quote
- VIP airport, hotel and hospital transfers
- Virtual follow-up after you fly home
The package leaves out flights and travel insurance. Also, ask for the price of any optional extra, such as an additional night, before you book.
Questions at this stage
Why is a penile implant so much cheaper in Turkey?
Istanbul uses the same device models as the US and Europe. However, surgeon fees, hospital costs and wages are far lower. In addition, high surgical volume and the exchange rate lower the price further.
Does a lower price mean an older or lower-grade device?
No. The difference comes from local costs, not from the implant. So ask for the brand and model in writing, and keep your implant card after surgery.
Penile Implant Cost: Turkey vs US, UK, Canada and Ireland
Here is how an Istanbul package compares with typical self-pay quotes in four common home countries.
| Implant | Istanbul (package) | United States | United Kingdom | Canada | Ireland and EU |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AMS 700 or Coloplast Titan | $9,000 to $12,000 | $25,000 to $35,000 | £17,500 to £22,000 | CAD 22,000 to 30,000 | €19,500 to €28,000 |
| Rigicon Infla10 | $6,000 to $11,000 | No established US price | £14,000 to £18,000 | CAD 18,000 to 25,000 | €16,000 to €22,000 |
| Malleable rods | $5,000 to $7,000 | $15,000 to $22,000 | £11,000 to £14,000 | CAD 14,000 to 20,000 | €12,000 to €17,000 |
Istanbul: 2026 SafeFill Clinic package prices. Other countries: typical private self-pay quotes, updated September 2026. Your local quote may differ.
Back home, the quoted figure often covers surgery and the device only. Meanwhile, hospital nights, anesthesia and follow-up visits can arrive as separate bills. So the real gap is usually wider than the table shows.
Time matters too. In the UK, Canada and Ireland, public systems fund implants for some men, usually after other treatments fail. However, waiting times vary by region and can run for many months.
In the United States, cover depends on your insurer and plan. So a man who pays privately, or who has already waited a long time, often compares Istanbul with his local self-pay quote.
Will my insurance pay for surgery in Turkey?
Usually not. Most insurers only pay for surgery inside their own network. However, some policies reimburse part of an approved operation abroad, so ask your insurer in writing before you book.
Is a Penile Implant Worth the Cost?
For most men who reach this stage, yes. An implant costs more on day one, yet it replaces years of repeat spending.
Tablets, injections and shockwave courses all cost money again and again. For example, US patients often pay $200 to $400 for each few months' supply of injection treatment. Over ten years, repeat treatment can therefore reach several thousand dollars, often with fading results.
An implant, by contrast, is a one-time cost for a device that usually lasts 10 to 15 years. Moreover, it works on demand, with no planning and no side effects from medication. Published studies report satisfaction above 90% for men and for their partners.
That said, an implant is permanent and replaces the natural erection mechanism. Therefore, Dr. Tas recommends it once other treatments have failed or stopped working. Our ED treatment guide explains the earlier steps.
Will an implant make my penis shorter?
The implant itself does not remove length. However, erections can feel slightly shorter than in youth, often because of the condition that caused the ED. For the full answer, read our guide on implants and length.
How Your Quote Becomes a Final Price
Pricing follows four steps. At each step, you know what you pay for and what could change the total.
Quote: choose the device and your dates
First, you contact the clinic with your implant preference and travel window. The team then sends a written quote for each device you are considering. As a result, you can compare models side by side.
Also mention any earlier penile surgery and your general health. Meanwhile, add return flights and any extra hotel nights to see your full trip cost.
Is the first quote final?
It is your working price. Dr. Tas confirms the final figure at the consultation, after the examination and tests. Usually, it changes only when the device or the plan changes.
Consultation: examination, tests and final choice
On arrival day, Dr. Tas first examines you and reviews your history. Then you complete routine blood and urine tests.
If you have diabetes, bring your recent blood sugar results. Good control before surgery lowers infection risk, so Dr. Tas checks it before confirming the date.
Next, you confirm the final model together. Hand strength, lifestyle and budget all shape that choice. During the operation, the surgeon measures cylinder length so the device fits your anatomy.
Can I switch devices after I arrive?
Yes, before surgery. Your quote simply moves to the other device's price range. For example, some men choose malleable rods after discussing hand strength.
Surgery week: one operation, about seven days
The operation usually takes one to two hours under general or spinal anesthesia. Afterwards, most men stay just one night in hospital.
Most international patients plan five to seven days in Istanbul. That covers the consultation, surgery, discharge and a wound check before the flight. See our penile prosthesis surgery page for the day-by-day plan.
Infection prevention starts before the first incision. Read how the team lowers that risk in implant infection prevention.
Do I pay extra if I need another hospital night?
Ask for the price of an extra night in writing. Most men do not need one. Still, knowing the figure in advance avoids surprises.
Aftercare: activation and follow-up from home
You do not use an inflatable implant straight away. Generally, pump training comes at four to six weeks, once the swelling has settled.
Dr. Tas can run that training and later checks over video, so a second trip is often unnecessary. Meanwhile, a local urologist can handle routine examinations.
Also, keep your implant card with you. It tells any future doctor the exact model, for example before a scan or another operation.
Sex usually resumes at around six weeks. For the week-by-week detail, see our penile implant recovery timeline.
Does aftercare cost extra?
Virtual follow-up is part of the package. However, any in-person visit with a urologist at home follows that clinic's own fees.

Request Your Written QuotePenile Implant Cost: Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cheapest penile implant option in Turkey?
Malleable rods, at $5,000 to $7,000 for the full package. They are also simple and durable. However, they never become fully soft, so compare them with an inflatable first.
Why do some clinics advertise implants for $3,500?
Low headline prices often cover a malleable device, a basic hospital or no hotel. In fact, some also leave out anesthesia or tests. Therefore, compare quotes line by line, including the brand and model.
Does the price include the whole implant system?
Yes. The device line covers both cylinders, the pump and the reservoir, or both rods for a malleable implant. So nothing about the device itself appears later as an extra.
Is it safe to have a penile implant in Turkey?
Yes, when an experienced urologist operates in an accredited hospital. Check the surgeon's implant volume, the hospital and the device brand. Also confirm who handles your follow-up at home.
How long does a penile implant last?
Most modern inflatable implants work for 10 to 15 years or longer. Specifically, studies report around 80% still working at 10 years. Malleable rods have fewer moving parts and often last longer.
How much time off work do I need?
Desk work usually resumes after one to two weeks. However, physical work and sex wait around six weeks, so plan your leave around that timeline.
